Limit patient account access to authorized representatives

When access to a patient account is limited to authorized representatives, the patient can no longer sign in to their account.

To limit patient account access to authorized representatives:

  1. In the Patients module, select a patient.
  2. Select Edit Patient icon to display the Patient Info card.
  3. Click the PatientAccess Info button button to display the PatientAccess Info. window.
  4. In the Account tab, click the No access (only accessible by Representatives) check box.
  5. Click Modify Record.

Now when the patient attempts to sign in, a message similar to the message below is displayed in the Login box:
